I'm still essentially a Linux n00b, so when I get a message like this about my dedicated server...
...I am a little perplexed.Drive Warning: /dev/sda5 (/) is 81% full
The mount point for sda5 appears to be the root ( / ). But I have lots of other devices with plenty more space available (even though they are of course all mounted to subdirectories of / ).
How critical is it to keep lots of padding in sda5? What can I do to ensure it doesn't fill up?
I would really appreciate any advice you can offer.
