Vern: Emergency Drive Replacement

Tonight at Midnight EST we will bring the Vern Server down to replace one of the two hard disks that makes this server's RAID system work.

The estimated downtime is about 30 minutes.

We will repeat this process to replace the second drive in the array after the array has been rebuilt. My guess is this will take a day or so to rebuild the array. Rebuilding the array can be done while the machine is acting as a server so the only downtime you should see is when we pull the old disk and replace with the new.

Each disk should take about 30 minutes or so.
