    Question Flash file review

We are involved with a project that includes a flash file on the home page with a request for no preloading timer visible.

Clients are using Safari 4 on a Mac to view.

Tested on: IE7, Firefox, Chrome, Safari 3 & 4 (on PC and Mac)

Complaint: Flash file stutters during playing.

Could anyone available please review the following link and flash element and let me know if you see any issues? Please tell me which browser and OS your using - and if you have any suggestions.

    Wind River Group LLC

    Thanks so much!
    Thank you,

    Vista Ultimate SP1 - Firefox 3.5.2

The Wind River logo that first appears and scrolls to the left of the screen stutters in random places for me but that only seems to be if the entire movie is not loaded into my browser cache. That is the only stuttering that I see. HTH

thanks Matt - so once you've viewed it once, there's no delays, right? Even if you refresh a few times?

Dmitriy and Alexander have an opinion on what might cause the issues?

Once its been fully downloaded it does not appear to have te problem after refreshing as my browser caches the movie as most do with flash. That is why people generally use FLV or preloaders with flash to prevent such things.

    Opera 9, IE 8, FF 3. OS - XP SP3.

I didn't see any preloader, but the movie start immidiately even on pretty slow connection (4 Mb/s). The problem I saw is when the iStockPhoto text is shown the movie sometimes stops before showing "Preservation ...." text. This happens even after first view.

Flash/Action Script guys normally solwing this kind of issues at once, but I'm not a pro in this area.

Oh, and, as far as I can see, this is an issue with the Flash file itself, not with the way you're inserting it into the page, so you'd contact this flash file author on this issue. No one will tell you what's the problem without fla sources and knowledge of the action script itself.

Thought I would post the solution for others going through the same frustration!
