This is an important scheduled maintenance notice from GlowHost, which affects the tango.gendns.com and oscar.gendns.com servers. Please read the following information carefully.

As part of our mission to provide the best web hosting services, we are announcing that we will be migrating all clients from the Oscar and Tango servers to brand new and upgraded hardware.

Please be advised that on November 11th, 2025, and November 12th, 2025, we will transfer client accounts from both the Tango and Oscar servers respectively to the new Mars (mars.gendns.com) server. All clients have been notified directly by email with more details.

Migration Window For The Tango Server: The migration will begin on November 11th (Tuesday), 2025, at 9:00 PM US Eastern.

Migration Window For The Oscar Server: The migration will begin on November 12th (Wednesday), 2025, at 9:00 PM US Eastern.

Migrations will be ongoing until all clients have been transferred to the new server.

We do not expect any downtime. However, we do ask that you prepare for potential downtime during the full maintenance window in the case of unforeseen circumstances.

As with any maintenance and at all times, all GlowHost clients are encouraged to make sure that they have downloaded recent backups of their account data. In fact, making sure you have recent backups at all times is part of best practices when maintaining a website.
