Scheduled Maintenance (Chicago Server) - February 8th, 2026

This is an important scheduled maintenance notice from GlowHost that affects the Chicago (chicago.gendns.com) server in our Chicago, IL location. Please read the following information carefully.

Please be advised that on February 8th, the Chicago server will be undergoing maintenance. The purpose of this maintenance is to address a potentially uncorrectable issue with the RAID array.

Maintenance Window: Maintenance will begin on February 8th (Sunday) starting at 2:30 AM US Eastern. Maintenance is expected to conclude at 10:30 AM US Eastern.

Numerous precautions are in place to ensure that the maintenance happens as seamlessly as possible. While we do anticipate downtime of up to 30 minutes during the maintenance window, we do ask that you prepare for potential downtime of the full maintenance window in case of unforeseen circumstances.

As with any maintenance and at all times, all GlowHost clients are encouraged to make sure that they have downloaded recent backups of account data. In fact, making sure you have recent backups at all times is part of best practices when maintaining a web site.
