The maintenance may take significantly less time than projected, and while the risk of downtime is small, we do ask that you prepare for potential downtime caused by unforeseen circumstances.

As with any maintenance, you are encouraged to make sure that you have downloaded recent backups of your websites. In fact, making sure you have recent backups at all times is part of best practices when maintaining a web site. This can be done from inside your cPanel using the Backups icon.
