I think our DDoS Filters may have been set a little to aggressive for developers. We had set a 25 connection per IP limit so those of you doing things like email, FTP and web all connection on the same server would end up getting banned for 30 minutes.
I've adjusted these levels and things should be better now.

This is a uniquely frustrating experience.
Getting close to three hours without as much as a hello on the support ticket system, its 13:30 now so the work day is about to be over in another couple of hours, today is Friday, what am I going to tell people ?
24 hours a day x 30 days a month = 720 hours, 1% of that is 7 and change, we're past twice that by now, just this week.
