Emergency Maintenance (Charlie Server) - July 12th, 2026
This is an important scheduled maintenance notice from GlowHost that affects the Charlie server. Please read the following information carefully.
Please be advised that on July 12th, the Charlie server will be undergoing an emergency reboot to patch a couple of kernel vulnerabilities.
*Maintenance Window:* Maintenance will begin on July 12th (Sunday), starting at 02:00 AM US Eastern. Maintenance is expected to conclude at 03:00 AM US Eastern on July 12th (Sunday).
Numerous precautions are in place to ensure that the maintenance happens as seamlessly as possible. While downtime of up to 30 minutes during the maintenance window may be anticipated, we do ask that you prepare for potential downtime of the full maintenance window in case of unforeseen circumstances.
As with any maintenance and at all times, all GlowHost clients are encouraged to make sure that they have downloaded recent backups of the account data. In fact, making sure you have recent backups at all times is part of best practices when maintaining a website.
