This is an important scheduled maintenance notice from GlowHost that affects the Romeo server. Please read the following information carefully.
We will be conducting maintenance on the Romeo server. Please be advised that on July 26th (Tuesday), the Romeo server will be undergoing maintenance to replace a storage device.
Maintenance Window: Maintenance will begin on Tuesday, July 26th starting at 3:00 AM EST. Maintenance is expected to conclude at 9:00 AM EST.
Numerous precautions are in place to ensure that the maintenance happens as seamlessly as possible. While we anticipate a temporary interruption lasting for up to an hour, we do ask that you prepare for potential downtime of the full maintenance window in the case of unforeseen circumstances.
Immediately after the storage device has been replaced, our technicians will need to perform a RAID sync. This can last several hours, and you may experience instances where data may take a bit longer to write during this period. This will be temporary.
As with any maintenance and at all times, all GlowHost clients are encouraged to make sure that they have downloaded recent backups of account data. In fact, making sure you have recent backups at all times is part of best practices when maintaining a web site.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us. Our technical support team is available 24/7 to help.
