Is there a way to use Spam-O-Matic to disable the vBulletin profile page for new users? Christmas Day was busy, with hundreds of new profile pages created by spammers!

You can create a separate group, like "Newbies" and limit permissions for them according to your needs. After that, you will need to activate newbies manager (instructions can be found here). After that, all new users will become newbies and will have limited access rights.
