What's up with vern lately?

Vern has been going into overload frequently since the power blip. What's up?

There were some problems with the load on one of the VPSs, large backups were restored there. Now the situation is fine as you can see.

Alex - it works ok for a few hours and then goes into overload again and again. As I write this, there are 11 cpvps above 5 (in the red). Mine is 3.18 but the overloaded ones cause phpBB on my site to time-out and not post messages properly because it can't update the MySQL database. phpBB is the only thing on my site and there are never more than two or three users posting at the same time.

This was not the case so frequently before the power blip.

Just ran a check through Host Tracker - glowhost.com loads in 0.64 seconds while my site loads in 15.67 seconds. Clearly something is seriously wrong. How about a fix guys?

We suspended the VPS that was causing the problem and we're installing a new version of cPanel that has been optimized for VPS.

I'd love to say that it's better, but it's not. It's even worse now at 16.85 seconds with 1 fail.

I'd love to say we are done updating everyone's cPanel to the VPS optimized version but unfortunately only 3 of them have been done. We are doing one at a time to keep the loads minimal but its going to be a little while to get them all.

Alright if anyone else is having the same problems as omarflip please let us know. I have spot checked several VPS on hosttracker and all are loading under 1 sec as of this posting.
