Client has issues deleting emails from my iPhone

My client has an issue deleting emails from withinan iPhone email app. Is there a server or cpanel setting that I need to adjust to make this happen? You can move emails to the trash but not trash them directly from the inbox or edit features.

I should have noted that the client is using IMAP instead of a POP account.

The same issue takes place on BlackBerry as well (my own experience) with different configurations and servers of different providers.

We will update you with possible fixes once we find them.

I noticed that this problem has resolved itself on my i phone with the latest ios8 OS.
