Client FTP Access?
I have a client who is Mac based, I am pc based.
She needs a link to send to her customers to access an ftp folder with a password which allows for ftp upload and download.
I have gained access to the ftp folder via IE but can't upload to it -Accessed by: ftp://ftp.domainname.com
username: folder@domainname.com

any help would be appreciated!

Okay, found the thread about IE and did manage to access the ftp:

In firefox, the browser seems to have a setting that assumes the username is just the "username" without the @domainanme.com - any suggestions on that?

ftp access via mozilla
Hello, if you need to access your ftp accounts via Mozilla, you just need to use such sting in your browser:
ftp://login@domain.comassword@domain.com/
where login is the login you've used during ftp account creation, password - password for this ftp account, domain.com - is your real domain name.
Also, you client can try Mac-based ftp clients, for example, Cyberduck, they work in the same way as PC-based clients.

Thanks Alex - at least I can view the ftp contents that way!
