Everything is resolving great! I just pointed the domain to the new nameservers and I'm already resolving to the new IP address. I was making that way more complicated than it really was.

I have to say Matt, that I had to read the post a couple of times before I got it. Couple that with (what I believe to be) an obscure reference to the allyourbase belong to us mantra as your signature and now I think I'm on the right track
