I will have to disagree and say that they are smart asses. Most military here lost their brains when they were too young and are not willing to learn simple things in this world. What they are doing at work is grow their stomachs, watch TV, drink and eat. Then come home and complain to their wives that they are so tired after the working day. I don't know how drunk they were when they shoot at the wrong target and the rocket dropped on one of the houses in Brovari (Kiev region).

That's opposite to military in USA. They at least have some discipline there.

I wasn't commenting on the anecdote, I was simply commenting on the ridiculous size of his hat. I wonder how he fits in his Lada with that?
