Server outage today?

I got a call from a client today around 9am central time who advised me that my server was out again. I checked the status board and indeed, it was. I was down for an hour and came back up. I read the scheduled outage announcements and didn't see anything in there, so I was wondering what happened today to cause that outage? Apparently, it affected not just my server, but a few others too.

I'm just a bit more sensitive to this since last week's major outage from the lightning strike and so are my clients as well. I do realize that outages can and will happen from time to time. What I'm mostly concerned about is keeping up with the communication when they do happen. I hadn't seen anything on the message board regarding today's outage.

There was a power outage at the Data Center which affected our servers. Once the power issue was fixed, the servers were brought back online.

Ok. Glad it wasn't too long. I know that you guys are all over it with the DC to get it resolved. We'll hang in there with you. Keep us posted.
