I personally liked: "If you mean the server caught on fire and melted then yes"
But really - what about the SSL certs I thought it had to be only for that specific IP when it was purchased (the SSL) - so your saying we don't have to purchase new SSLs even though it will be a totally different IP than what was origianlly purchased with?
:) Welcome to the forums and the conversation :)
You don't need to buy new SSLs as long as you have all the information that was sent to you from the SSL provider. The SSL is not bound to a specific IP forever. It can be changed at any time.
cool, that's it for now from me! (famous last words)
But SSL's are domain specific, right?
Hey Matt,
This monthly leasing thing isn't based on a yearly fee or anything is it?
Yes, SSL is domain specific.
No, the dedicated servers are month to month. You can pay a year if you like.
Matt - we're going to order one of these in the next couple of days - we'll submit a trouble ticket along with the order about the server name and account details.
Thank you so much for answering so many questions!
Hi Lynne,
I cant promise I will have either of those dual processor machines I mentioned earlier. I have several people eyeballing them from yesterday and today so if you want one of those time *may* be of the essence.
On the Intel I-V servers listed on the main site, site there are plenty of those to be had so whenever's clever on those machines.
You are welcome :)
No sweat Matt, I think we're going with one that's listed on your site.
