Another question about VPS - For those on VPS servers - will we have to (re)configure Exim and / or update or upload new lists to our servers?

About a year or two ago, I noticed a significant reduction of spam on the Haylee server and I attribute this to something you guys had installed and / or updated. This has worked well for me since then, but will I have to tweak things myself?

Since I moved over to the new vps with my domain, I've noticed a pickup in the amount of spam, so I wanted to get global settings configured before I move my clients over as well.
