Some of you are reporting slow-down when trying to access your sites. It seems to be worse for some ISP's than others. For about 3 minutes earlier today I could not connect at all using 3 different ISP I have here at the office.
That slowly cleared up at different times for each ISP and it is getting better as the minutes roll on.
The datacenter initially believed it to be a result of a heavy DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack. This had affected every host in the datacenter.
As it turned out, one of the main Metro Ring 10G switches had failed and the last status was that it had already been replaced with an on-site spare.
It seems to be resolved and speeds should be much better for the vast majority of you now.
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we wait for the datacenter techs to resolve any remaining issues.
