The server Olga has been on an up and down status now for a good while. Any idea what's going on with a little more tech-savvy update?

The problem started about a week ago with a bad harddrive in the RAID array. We installed a new one to replace the defective drive, but the new drive did not like the other other drive in the array, so then we updated the other old drive. It took about a day for the array to fully rebuild online. So some slowness was going on that day while it rebuilt.

After that we didn't see much improvement so we replaced the entire raid card and cable set.

Things looked OK until today when it went down and we noted a faulty adapter on the power supply, which we suspect was the root cause of the other issues.

The server just vanished again so we have our guys in the DC checking it out now. Not sure what the underlying issue is but there is not much more hardware to replace on this thing now.

Not much more hardware left than the whole unit itself here it sounds like. Welp, thanks for the update! Hope your team can straighten Olga up!

Server finished FSCK and got down again. We are investigating the issue.

The Y power connector for the 2 HDDs attached to the RAID card was faulty. This is why the HDDs kept falling offline. The Y power connector for the HDDs has been replaced and the server is back online. Sorry for any inconveniences caused.
