Emergency Reboots

A new Kernel exploit has been found that can allow a hacker to do very bad things if not patched.

We have loaded new Kernels in the affected machines and will be rebooting them shortly.

Reboots typically take about 5-10 minutes however sometimes things can go wrong, for example, the machine decides to not load the new kernel.

When that happens we have to roll back to another kernel that is not affected.

If a server does not come online after the reboot, we will know about it and are already working to fix the issue. We will be here watching things to make sure the affected servers come back online as soon as possible.
