I use domain name for my mail servers. should I use an IP? Also on the site that's directed completed to someones I get this error:
I don't know why it goes to www.amy-marks.com.Not Found
The requested URL http://zee750s.com/zeefourm/ was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.37 Server at www.amy-marks.com Port 80

Matt I don't know if it helps but another site went to amy-marks .com (www.ablestudio.com) also, then it worked correctly, however I checked and guess what the nameservers are

I won't bother you anymore thanks again.

No, you should use mail.domain.com or domain.com. I suggest using mail.domain.com
Outllok and other windows apps seem to cache this data. I'd reboot your computer, then before doing anything use the flush dns command above, then see what happens.
But before you do that you can ping yourdomain.com then ping mail.yourdomain.com and if one or the other has the new IP address you can use that.

All Ips have been changed. If you must access your site immediately via the domain name, AND you still cannot see it, AND you run windows, try this from the command line:
(AKA the "run" option in the start menu)
Type this:
However that's only for sites you viewed recently or during the outage.ipconfig /flushdns
People that are trying to access your site after the IP change will immediately be directed to the new site. Just because you cannot see it, does not mean they don't. It only affects SOME people who were trying to access their site during the outage.
Visitors to your site during the outage may or may not have to do this depending on their ISP. Those that do "need to do this" really don't have to do anything, their ISP will update their cache data soon about your website's IP address and it should work like normal shortly.
The above method was only suggested for those site owners that require immediate access via the domain name.

Are you sure? This is what I get. I flushed the dns on my windows machine but it still come up like these images. Please note that they are two different domains going to the amy-marks site. The able studio site flipped on and off several times. Email seems to work than not work, I'm sure you know my fustration.
You'll have to wait for your local cache to clear. I am sure yes, I see an old phpbb forum and 4 motorcycles on the homepage of the site at the domain.

To flush the DNS cache on Mac OSX , you should use this command
lookupd -flushcache
type it in the Terminal program usually found in your Utilities folder in Applications.
God Bless
Ill fish around some more but it does look good on this side. Thanks for the Mac flush dns thing
