As part of our commitment to provide top quality web hosting services, maintenance is required and has been scheduled for the server below.

Please read these details carefully:

Server Name: Alpha (alphanew)
Service Date: Tuesday, 8 January, 2019
Service Window: Starting 2 AM EST. Ongoing until complete.
Details: The Alpha server is being replaced with new, more powerful hardware. Therefore, all accounts residing on the Alpha server will be migrated to the new hardware. No need to worry - our administrators will perform all migrations. Further details will be sent to you by the administrative team. This newer, more powerful server is a complimentary upgrade for all of our customers on the Alpha server.
Expected Downtime: No downtime is expected at this time.

This means work will begin at some point during this time specified in the service window above, unless unexpected situations arise. During this service window, no downtime is expected.

As always, we recommend that you have local copies of your web site in the event of unforeseen issues which may result in complete and total data loss on the server. While we do not anticipate this to be an issue, it is always a wise choice to have copies of your web site in multiple locations.

You can make copies of your web site using the backup option in your cPanel.

Will the IP address be changing? If "Yes" will you forward traffic from the current IP?

Yes, IP will be changing. We will forward the traffic from current IP if you are using our nameservers. If you are using any third party nameservers, you will need to make necessary updates in your DNS settings.

Just for your information, the migration is still in progress. When completed, affected clients will be updated with the necessary instructions.
