This is an important scheduled maintenance notice from GlowHost that affects the Montreal (montreal.gendns.com) server in our Montreal, Quebec location. Please read the following information carefully.

Please be advised that on March 25th, the Montreal server will be undergoing maintenance on our network infrastructure at the Montreal location.

Maintenance Window: Maintenance will begin on March 25th (Wednesday), starting at 12:00 AM US Eastern. Maintenance is expected to conclude at 8:00 AM US Eastern, on the same day.

Backup Maintenance Window: A backup maintenance window may occur on March 26th (Thursday), starting at 12:00 AM US Eastern. Maintenance will be expected to conclude at 8:00 AM US Eastern, on the same day.

Numerous precautions are in place to ensure that the maintenance happens as seamlessly as possible. While downtime of up to 30 minutes during the maintenance window may be anticipated, we do ask that you prepare for potential downtime of the full maintenance window in case of unforeseen circumstances.

As with any maintenance and at all times, all GlowHost clients are encouraged to make sure that they have downloaded recent backups of the account data. In fact, making sure you have recent backups at all times is part of best practices when maintaining a website.
