The server is coming back online now in a few minutes.

If you saw it come back online that was us making the determination that it could be restored to online status. At that point the desicion was made to upgrade the hardware now instead of doing this all again later.

We are adding an additional gig of memory to this server as we speak in hopes this will solve the issues we saw today.

We will keep you updated if the hardware additions do not correct the problem. Thank you for your continued patience. Remember these sort of things happen from time to time especially on shared servers. If your business is mission critical to you as some of you on the shared hosting plans have indicated, I suggest having us provision a dedicated server for you. Sporadic issues like this occur much less frequently and are usually more predictable on a dedicated server.
