    Default Server Admin IP reset

As most of you know, I'm not great at the server admin stuff and have a question on behalf of one of my clients.

They have a server at their location which is used to view the secure camera area of the facility.

The login script connects to the IP address in order for the images to be viewed on the web.

The problem: if there is a power outage, the IP address gets reset even though their network admin says it is supposed to stay the same even with a reset.

I was wondering if there was an alternative solution anyone might have.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
    Thank you,

Well, I'm not sure what is the structure of your network, but the easiest way is to make their admin fix it. If the problem really exists, show it to him.
