Default Changing The Community To main site

I guess that ask the question LOL sorry but I am thinking about installing 4images for my Sober Grafx Site I have uploaded them into /community the 4images but am wanting to add everything to that and once I've transfered all images into Categories can I than make the /community being the 4images into the main site? If so how? Thanks

Man I forgot about using the forums and personally I think it is a good way so that others can access information as well.!

Yes you can do that. Basically you would:

    A) Rename public_html to something like /archive
    B) Then rename /community to /public_html
    C) Then move the new public_html from /archive/public_html up one level to the same level as /archive
    D) You might have to adjust the settings / configuration in 4images to reflect the new install location.
    E) You might have to change permissions on the new public_html to something like 711

or plan B is have support reset your account and start fresh, where you just install 4images from the beginning which may be cleaner.

There are other ways to do this but these are the 2 easiest I suppose.

Well what I am thinking now is just doing a fresh install just save the images and than going from there. Is that maybe the way I should go probably not much to loose really. Also am wondering if that is probably one of the better CMS to use? I like wordpress a lot but don't know how I would go about it with the coding for the images...

    Oh my such decisions

I don't know which is best for you, it really depends on what you are trying to do and what you feel that you like. Wordpress is pretty flexible there are a lot of plugins for it that let you do most anything you want to do.

Well I decided to go with 4images CMS for the sobergrafx site but I don't really like it I've tried to adjust everything all 3 settings of the templates are all way out of line. I think that it is basically what I was looking for but it has to be able to come together to fit the size somehow? Also It is really weird cause every time I try and make a transaction in it is says I'm not logged in and am having to log in every time I click the page.

    sorry url http://sobergrafx.com/index.php

Image magick should be installed, you can open a ticket with support so they can check your particular server and then you can make sure the path to image magick in your script is correct.
