    Default Adding Scripts From Fantastico

    Hello -
Our organization's CEO wants an event calendar and bulletin board for our website. Looking through the selection in Fantastico, I am looking at installing the Web Calendar and Bulletin Board scripts. my questions is, once the scripts are installed, how do web visitors see these new features. Will I have to create a new page for the calendar and bulletin board to run on, or will the install automatically create any new pages needed?

If the install does create the needed pages within the web site can I configure those pages to match the formatting that currently exists. If it's not possible to modify the existing formatting, do you have any suggestions.

    Thanks for all your help.

Usually these script are installed in a subdirectory of public_html, like
    /calendar and /boards

Then after you install these packages you would just make some links to yourdomain.com/calendar and yourdomain.com/boards

Yes almost every script out there has some sort of template system so that you can edit the look and feel to match that of the main site.

Mat thanks for the quick reply. Just so I'm clear, the subdirectory that the scripts install too will be created during the installation, right?

Yep, when you choose the script you want to install, one of the options it asks you in fantastico is what directory you want to install the files/script in.
