I found IE7 fairly annoying at first but once you get into the settings its not so bad. One of the biggest pet peeves of mine is when you open a new tab it has a warning page telling you what you have just done. Duhhhhhhhh.

If you get into the settings that page can go away and it will go straight to the site you were requesting without an additional step telling you that you were trying to open a new tab. You can also disable tabs completely, but I find them useful once you disable the default warnings.

After opening new tab, take a look at the bottom of the page. Select 'Don't show me this again' (or what it says) & click Done. Thats it, from now on it will open about:blank in new tab. Also you can take a look at browser tab settings to customize your experience with the software.

IMO, IE7 become much better that IE6. In addition to this, they're releasing fixes from time to time, but all the developers are looking forward to IE8 - MS claims it will support W3C standarts.

It takes 8 versions to do it... LOL... why from Opera it was 3 & for Safari & for from the 1st :-)

Wow that sounds great about IE8 but I will belive it when I see it.

As for the about:blank this can be configured to load a default page instead. I have mine set to google. I find it much more useful than a warning page or a blank page.

Well, I updated to IE7 and I must say it's different. The homepage icons have stopped jumping in and out, but now something I've never experienced while on the forums is happining. As you can see with the attached capture, the Thread Reply box has shifted to the right relative to the rest of the page. Any ideas?

Yeah that's IE7 for you. I'll see if i can get the wysiwyg editor narrowed down a bit. It hangs off the side of the page in Firefox too, but at least all the options are available in that browser.

Personally I think its a flaw in the way vB is written.
