Sure, 587 if you want to use a Verizon address.
Tell him to use port 26 if he wants to use SMTP on your server. The message from Verizon says they are only blocking 25 which is what most ISPs are doing these days.
I set up a test account under his domain, and set up my Apple Mail client with a POP account and was able to get it working well, until the moment when my testing mail activity coincided with a message that the IMAP had failed. So it appears the failing IMAP is affecting user's mail. Can you check with cPanel, please? This is a recent development, so it's got to be some update gone wrong.
I have sent an update request to your ticket at cPanel.
cPanel has made some additional modifications, please have a look and see if things are better.
got an IMAP failed message 4 minutes ago.
... and 9 more since my previous message. So looks like no improvement.
Failing about every 5 minutes now. IMAP users are complaining, too. We need to get this fixed.
We haven't forgotten about you. Unfortunately cPanel doesn't answer as fast as we do. Believe me we have a very large ticket with them and doing what we can do get it resolved.
I can see the warnings, I am cc;d on all of them so I am seeing what you are when it fails.
Ah, cool. And yes, there is only one GH.
