    Exclamation Trying to sign up...

    Hi,

    I'm currently attempting to sign up for shared service and I'm getting this error:

    "
    Content-type: text/html
    myGlow: Script Error myGlow was unable to launch due to the following errors:
    unable to open connection
    "


    Not looking good there.

    Seriously though, I am interested in your services. The sooner the better.

    Edit: Hmm... seems to be because I am trying to use the same domain name that we already have. If I put a different, available domain name it keeps going like normal.

    Is there a different way to sign up if I already have the domain but just want it transferred?

    What is the domain name? If you don't want to post it here in public you can open a helpdesk ticket on it, or Private message me here on the forums...
    If you are already in our systems perhaps a helpdesk ticket is the best option so we can get all the account details we need from you.

    It's all good.

    The domain name is floribbeanproducts.com , and no, I don't have any service through GlowHost just yet. It's what I'm attempting. We already have the domain name registered. I figured the transferring would all be done automatic through GlowHost, but I see you have a sister site who does the transferring...

    I'm usually pretty good at figuring this stuff out, but I haven't dealt with two different entities for domain name and server in years. I guess a walkthrough is in order.

    I think something is going on with the .com registry, and our order form has issues trying to figure out what to do if there is a connection problem when it looks up the domain... soon to be fixed!

    Try it out for .net and I will change it when I see the order come through.

    PS Chose this option when asked:

    "I will be buying this Domain name elsewhere at a site like InstaPro.net"
