Hello,
Thanks for your interest. It is the same license that you would buy from vBulletin, so yes, it does eventually expire at which time you can choose to renew it based on their current support contract renewal terms. As for including widgets, it includes everything the exact same as what you would get if you were to buy the license directly from them, since ultimately, the software that is delivered to you comes from a download option in your account which will be created on their site.

when does the license expire? i dont have a normal "computer" to upload files of high memory, i only have 12.25 gb. Ican upload files but i dont want to have to renew the memory on my android a500. is there anyway to get a full non expirational license for Vbulletin on glowhost without downloading anything?
For technical questions of how vBulletin works, what their license offers, when it expires, and renewals, you would be better suited by contacting vBulletin directly with all of your questions about how their software works when you buy a license from them directly.
Whatever they offer is identical to what you would have here, since the license comes from them and is in your account on their site after your purchase from GlowHost. All we are doing is buying the license directly from their site so we have no special breaks on things like a perpetual license unless that is something that they offer at the time of your purchase. However I doubt they would offer unlimited free support since staff members and software development cost money, someone has to get paid.
However, the software still works if your license is expired. All that a license does is grant you access to their support and updates to the forum package when new features are released or security holes are discovered in their software.
If you only have a smartphone to deal with vBulletin I don't think that is going to work out well for you. You need to configure the settings of the forum and there are literally thousands of settings and who knows how well the admin control panel works, if at all, on a mobile device. Even if it did work, it would not be very easy to read and set the settings on a smaller screen.

Well, as I mentioned several times already, the software comes from vBulletin directly. So unless they are putting spam in the code, then your answer is no...
As far as I know, they don't have a limit on users, again, a that is a question for vBulletin. We don't write the software, or set the rules of what it can or cannot do, nor do we increase or decrease the functionality of the software supplied by them.

i dont inderstand why glowhost says if you purchase the 5 star package you will get a licensed vbulletin and now Matt your saying vbulletin expires.
i dont mean to be rude but that is not fair as i was going to use glowhost as a hosting provider for the main reason pf vbulletin, its a good thing i didnt purchase the 5 star monthly package yet unless you can convince me the vbulletin doesnt expire because it would be a waste of money knowing it expires.
i contacted vbulletin directly and they told me the licensd DOES NOT expire when getting a license. Maybe im not getting it through my brain looking at this statement at http://glowhost.com/features/vBulletin-web-hosting.php
i contacted vbulletin and they said the license does not expire.
vbulletin offers an indefinite software license and once gain doesnt expire so why purchase the glowhost 5 star package if the indefinite software license expires?
vbulletin charges for the forum upgrade but nothing expires.
Hello,
I apologize for the confusion. When you purchase a vBulletin license for the 4.0 software products, you purchase a license that allows you to run that software indefinitely - it does not expire. But if you'd like to upgrade your software you would have to pay the annual update fee. This update fee is not something invented by GlowHost. This is a normal fee from vBulletin. You can check it at their support department.
So if you purchase a license with GlowHost you wouldn't have to pay an annual license update fee to have access to security, maintenance and minor point updates. The new vBulletin 4.0 Software License Agreement now includes these services for the life of the 4.0 software products. But if you'd like to update the software an annual update fee must be paid.
Please make another update if you still have questions.
*This post was submitted after your 2nd post, sorry for duplicating information mentioned in it.
This package does not qualify for the vBulletin offer, so I agree, good thing it was not purchased....good thing i didnt purchase the 5 star monthly package
Here are the requirements as seen at the link below:

What does it take to get a free license and install?
We provide a free vBulletin license and free installation services on our Professional 5 Star Web Hosting Package, as well as our Advanced 5 Star Web Hosting Package, paid annually. (No coupon codes can be combined with this special offer, sorry.)
Hopefully that clears things up for you.
