    Question Dumb Question Alert!

Alright ya'll... I've been giving you guys the eyeball....

I run a couple of Blogs.

    Political Byline

    The American Nationalist News Service

    and a couple others.

What I want to do is, register 2 (or however many I want, up to 10) separate domains and put Blogs on them, (of course...)

    My question...

    (Drumroll)

Can a run multiple separate domains with one account? I'm eyeballing the Professional 5 Star hosting.

Now, I don't want the all the domains to come to a single site, I want separate sites with different content.

    Can I do that?

    Thanks,

    -Chuck

    P.S. Nice site content.

Hello, Chuck. First of all, welcome to our forum.
Sure, you can host 10 separate domains with Professional 5 Star package. They can have different content but are managed from the single control panel.

    Howdy Chuck-

Let me elaborate on the comment above.

Yes that is how it works. Basically you have a root domain, and then you can configure the control panel for the root domain to create subfolders for each domain in the root domain's public_html for each site that you want to host. Each site can be accessed over the unique domain and all of them can have unique content.

This is called an "Addon Domain" and you get one instance of cPanel to manage all the domains in one centralized control panel.

The other way to do this is to order a reseller package where you can create accounts on the server as needed using WHM (Web Host Manager) and each account gets a unique instance of cPanel and a unique public_html. I prefer the reseller account's myself but it is a matter of personal preference.

I know what you're referring to. But them reseller accounts cost more money!

And... they require you to be knowledgeable about hosting stuff, I know Wordpress and Cpanel somewhat, quite well, but all that other stuff is foreign to me.

Another thing, Reselling hosting space requires tech support, and you all wouldn't provide it to a reseller. I couldn't provide it, too dumb.

Well, the thing to remember is that just because it is called "Reseller" doesn't mean you have to resell anything. Many people use it entirely for their own websites to make managing them easier.

As for support, sure, we would support you, that is why we are here! We won't just sell you something and then tell you to figure it out yourself
    (Great if you do though!)

I guess the point being if you are using a reseller plan for just yourself, then there are no end users that need supported. The only person that might need support, is you and we support the account holder directly so you are in good shape.

As for a banner for a reseller account, sure it is conceivable, it really depends on the traffic that you get. If you want to PM me some of the traffic stats I will see if we can do anything for you.
