Network Maintenance - Salt Lake City, UT - August 7th 2024, 5:00 AM EDT ~ 1:00 PM EDT
This is an important maintenance notice from GlowHost that affects the Salt Lake City data center. Please read the following information carefully.
Our data center team has informed us that they will be conducting maintenance on the network infrastructure within the Salt Lake City data center. Please be advised that on August 7th (Monday), the facility networking team will be upgrading network switch and hardware within the facility to the latest version. The infrastructure team will also be conducting architecture changes to the routing services within the facility to improve efficiency and reliability.
Affected Servers: All services hosted within the Salt Lake City, UT location.
Maintenance Window: Maintenance will begin on Monday, August 7th starting at 5:00 AM EDT. The maintenance is expected to conclude at 1:00 PM EDT.
Numerous precautions are in place to ensure that the maintenance happens as seamlessly as possible. While we anticipate periodic network interruptions throughout the maintenance window, we do ask that you prepare for potential downtime of the full maintenance window in the case of unforeseen circumstances.
As with any maintenance and at all times, all GlowHost clients are encouraged to make sure that they have downloaded recent backups of account data. In fact, making sure you have recent backups at all times is part of best practices when maintaining a web site.
