Dedicated IP Address

Hello,

One of the benefit is to isolate from other sites on a shared server. For example, sometimes a DDOS attack can be directed on a shared IP address and as result all sites will be down, but with a dedicated IP such attack will not affect you.

With new SNI technology, cPanel allows to install several SSL certificates for a one IP address, but some old browsers may show connection problem, in this case you will need a dedicated IP address as well.

Also, some scripts/softwares may require a dedicated IP too.
