About the free domain

Currently my site is already hosted under a domain, but I would like to change it. According to my plan, I get a free domain, how about do I claim this?

You would need to order a new hosting package that comes with a free domain name then let the current one run out as the free domain comes on new hosting packages only so that there are no conflicts with the domain renewal date.

so i'm out of luck of getting the free domain for 11 months? my current one is not with instapro btw.
