L337 is how you spell the word "Leet" as in Eleet meaning "Elite"...as in uber computer geek.

Leet is slang computer nerd language where often times numbers are used in place of letters, or sometimes new words are created like in the case of "Hacker" it is most often spelled as h4XOR (hacksor)

So I took it to the double-nerdy level and spelled Leet as L337 then converted L337 to binary code.

More info on Leet can be found here:
Leet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Here is a cool L337 Translator

    Matt,

That's deep, but it's good to know. Next time you change your signature, someone might have to have a PhD or be a CIA cypher expert to decrypt it. Maybe that would be a good promo - decipher Matt's signature and get a free month of hosting!

LOL, good idea. It might be a little long though for a signature promotion

Maybe I will use Base64 for that one....

Matt is using my software to do the conversions. I can read it like its emglish. I will have a decipher utility available for those who cant bin-asc-me-d00d on the fly. Paypal fees will be cheap.
Matt. I wrote the software you use to encode! So my answer is, I dont want free hosting because 01001001011100100011000000110000001100010010000001 110101

You gave me software to do binary conversions? I've never needed binary conversions before except to make my latest sig, or did I?

I think the expression you are after JM is:

    01001001 00100000 01110000 01110111 01101110 01111010 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00101110

    Typo dude.
third char (after space) 01110000 should be 01101111
Not even close! (in binary anyway.)
